Kaylin Moore and Nikko Reed, first-year frosh corners, were asked to step up and handle the duties Mekhi Blackmon usually does.
Moore goofed on a missed tackle on that Beavs screen play that went to the house, but aside from that, he and Reed performed admirably.
Trevor Woods, as was noted in a separate thread by @Electricbuff, had a terrific PBU in the fourth quarter but later missed a tackle on 31-yard touchdown run the Beavers had.
Growing pains are totally acceptable for true freshmen DBs. Overall, I though that group did pretty well.
